When people talk about passive income, they often focus on the big wins — four figures a month, quitting your job, flying first class.
But for me? 2025 The game changed with £107.
That’s how much I earned in June 2025 from my Amazon store — not from new releases, but from digital content and journals I created between 2021–2023.
Not life-changing.
But definitely mindset-changing.
💡 The Power of the Seed
I used to wonder if creating content — journals, planners, travel resources — was worth the effort. I didn’t have a huge following. I still don’t. I wasn’t marketing every day. Some days, I felt invisible online.
But that £107 reminded me that everything we create is a seed.
And seeds don’t scream while they grow. They just do.
It didn’t matter that I wasn’t actively promoting those products last month.
What mattered was that they existed. They were out there. And someone — in Japan, no less! — saw value in them and made a purchase.
That’s the power of digital products.
That’s the beauty of intentional, aligned creativity.
That’s when I realised: passive income is a portal — to freedom, to belief, to proof that you can do this too.
🌍 The Behind-the-Scenes No One Sees
Truthfully?
I’ve been carrying a lot emotionally. Caring for family. Juggling motherhood. Feeling burnt out some days and craving travel, adventure, escape — even if it’s just to the other side of Manchester.
But then I see something like that Amazon payment, and I’m reminded:
The brands I’m building — MStar Publishing & Minnie Escapes — are more than content creation and more than just travel.
It’s a story. It’s legacy. It’s a slow, steady rise toward everything I’ve ever manifested.
It’s about showing up for your dreams, even when the world feels overwhelming.
It’s also about knowing how and when to share.
Being visible as a Black woman — sharing creative wins, ideas, lifestyle — can feel like walking a fine line.
Between celebrating and overexposing.
Between shining and protecting your peace.
I’ll be unpacking all of that in a later post, but know this for now:
You don’t have to go viral to make a difference — not to others, and definitely not to yourself.
